Program Manager, Weapon System Integration (WSI)

Overview

V2X is seeking a Program Manager to support our Modernization & Sustainment division, specifically within the Weapon Systems Integration (WSI) team in Indianapolis. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams to enhance program execution, establish vision, and ensure technical and financial performance.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the entire program, including cost, schedule, and technical performance.
2. Provide programmatic and technical guidance for execution.
3. Lead configuration control and participate in engineering reviews.
4. Conduct program management reviews and coordinate with customers and subcontractors.
5. Maintain trustful relationships with stakeholders and prepare status reports.
6. Oversee Earned Value Management and risk management processes.
7. Act as the primary company representative to senior customers, fostering growth opportunities.
8. Collaborate across functions to ensure successful program delivery.
9. Address issues and escalate risks appropriately.
10. Lead technical collaborations and delegate tasks effectively.
11. Understand and manage program financials and performance metrics.

Qualifications

Required:

• 10+ years of relevant experience, including manufacturing, repair, and operations.
• Leadership experience managing diverse teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with system requirements, program management tools, and risk management.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Desired:

• Experience with DoD programs and lifecycle models.
• Knowledge of aerospace/defense programs and military platforms.
• Leadership in large prime contractor environments.
• STEM degree or equivalent experience.
• Proposal development skills.
