Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years of related experience.
• Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating community engagement, educational, professional development, or related programs or initiatives.
• Knowledge of the academic scientific research environment and ability to work with scientists, students, postdocs, faculty, and staff.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, including budgeting and handling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, manage, and assess programs that build community and support professional development for graduate students, postdocs, faculty, staff, and other University members.
• Develop and facilitate programs, events, workshops, and learning experiences to foster meaningful participation in University life.
• Design a scientific professional development curriculum addressing mentoring, leadership, communication, collaboration, and career development for scientists and trainees.
• Support graduate student and postdoctoral communities through programming, outreach, and resource development.
• Create educational resources, facilitator guides, and workshop materials for engagement and development.
• Collect and analyze data to assess program outcomes and inform continuous improvement.
