Job summary

Pivotal Now seeks a Program Manager to lead planning, execution, and evaluation of grant-funded programs supporting scholars. You will drive college access, career readiness, and alumni partnerships while collaborating across teams to meet reporting and impact goals.

The role focuses on data-informed programming, program development, and external relations to expand opportunities for scholars and strengthen partnerships with community organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field (psychology, education, etc.).
• 7-10 years of professional experience, with four in a team management role.
• Experience working directly with clients from underserved populations.
• Synthesizing complex information and communicating succinctly.
• Strong presentation, writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Success developing and evaluating program models.
• Strong project management skills for complex, multifaceted projects.
• Experience building and stewarding partnerships with community organizations.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of county and grant-funded programs, meeting deliverables and compliance on schedule.
• Develop data-informed reports, narratives, and presentations for funders and leadership.
• Set up systems to track performance, outcomes, and scholar engagement for improvement.
• Anticipate and resolve programmatic challenges to meet goals.
• Plan and coordinate college tours and expand access to post-secondary opportunities.
• Develop partnerships with colleges and educational stakeholders.
• Oversee Career Coaching Program design, engagement, and outcomes.
• Build partnerships with employers and workforce providers to broaden opportunities.
• Support recruitment, engagement, and retention across programs.
• Collaborate with alumni to strengthen networks and future opportunities.
• Translate program outcomes into compelling donor-facing stories and events.
