Eversource is hiring a Program Manager, Strategic Project Development, Transmission located out of the Westwood, MA office.
The Program Manager, Strategic Project Development, contributes to the advancement of Major and Strategic Projects within the Company's Massachusetts Electric Sector Modernization Plan (ESMP) throughout Transmission by implementing cross-functional leadership throughout the Company and executing on the Capital Plan while adhering to core business synergies.
The role will include the implementation of comprehensive strategies for advancing early-stage development for a portfolio of strategic transmission and substation projects, including internal organization and analytics, and support for external stakeholder relationship building in collaboration with other teams to support the Company's role as the leading provider of Transmission.
The Program Manager role will be expected to work collaboratively and coordinate with all relevant departments within the Company including System Planning, Engineering, Siting, Real Estate, Engagement and Equity, Regulatory, Procurement, Legal, Scheduling, and later-stage Project Management.
This role reports to the Manager of Strategic Project Development and will also work closely with the Director of Strategic Project Development to ensure alignment and cooperative communication across Strategic Project execution.
Bachelor's degree in a technical (i.e., engineering, environmental, communication, renewable energy ), business discipline, related degree or equivalent experience will be considered
Masters, law, or other advanced qualifications desirable
