Work Schedule

Shift 1, Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple, high-priority projects and programs that support business growth and innovation
  • Collaborate across departments to align project outcomes with strategic goals
  • Build and manage detailed work plans, drive milestones, and deliver updates to key stakeholders
  • Analyze options, manage risk and change, and help shape data-driven decisions that elevate performance
  • Lead project management teams to deliver on projects that span across different areas of the business
  • Determine and define scope and objectives. Break complex projects into simpler tasks and set goals and timeframes
  • Plan, budget, and manage resources to execute projects effectively, including forecasting needs, tracking costs, and ensuring alignment with timelines and deliverables.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and vendors, resolving conflicts, guiding prioritization, and mentoring peers to ensure smooth collaboration and successful project outcomes.
  • Communicate project status and progress through regular updates, documentation, presentations, and reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Analyze workflows, performance metrics, and business needs to identify gaps, assess strategies, and continuously improve processes and decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology 1 or more years of project management experience ASCP or AMT Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: 3 or more years of Blood Bank/Transfusion Services experience in an acute care hospital or health system laboratory strongly preferred, including experience with Blood Bank workflows, regulatory requirements, validations, testing, and LIS functionality. 1 or more years of experience working in an acute care hospital or integrated health system laboratory environment preferred. 1 or more years of experience with major hospital LIS platforms such as Epic Beaker, SoftLab/SoftBank, Cerner Millennium, or comparable systems. 1 or more years participating in user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, and post-implementation system optimization. 1 or more years of experience supporting Hospital Laboratory Information System (LIS) implementations, upgrades, workflow analysis, validations, testing activities, and go-live support.

Additional Job Standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate laboratory data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Familiarity with LIS, EHR, instrument, and middleware interfaces, including troubleshooting and workflow optimization.
  • Familiarity with the Visiun® analytics application and the use of laboratory performance metrics, dashboards, and benchmarking tools to support operational improvement initiatives preferred.
  • Knowledge of laboratory regulatory and accreditation requirements and their impact on system design, testing, validation, and operational workflows.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with laboratory leadership, pathologists, clinicians, IT teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
Pay Range

Pay Range: – $100,000 - $120,000 per year All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
