Program Manager, Quality Improvement & Health Equity

Pay Range and Position Details

This range is provided by the employer. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. The estimated base pay range is $95,370.00 to $137,850.00 per year. The actual salary will be discussed with your recruiter.

This position requires residence in California and is remote.

What You Will Be Doing

The Program Manager will support and develop projects ensuring compliance with regulations and accreditation standards. You will lead initiatives to improve quality and promote health equity, focusing on culturally competent care, data collection, and community engagement. Responsibilities include managing the Cultural & Linguistics program, developing metrics, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Essential Functions
  • Collaborate across teams and with community partners to design and implement projects focused on reducing disparities and building equity.
  • Develop action plans with member-facing departments and monitor progress.
  • Improve demographic data collection to evaluate quality and equity outcomes.
  • Participate in grant proposals, community funding, and vendor selection processes.
  • Partner with external organizations to ensure health equity initiatives are appropriate and effective.
  • Manage the Cultural and Linguistic Services Program, ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
  • Conduct community health assessments and develop strategies to address identified needs.
  • Create metrics and reports to evaluate program impact and inform leadership decisions.
  • Ensure organizational policies promote health equity across all areas.
Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's degree in relevant field, 5+ years in health equity or quality programs, 2+ years in management. Preferred: Master's degree, managed care experience, certifications like PMP or CCHI, bilingual skills.
