Job Title: Program Manager/ Program Coordinator (Housing/ Housing Stability)
Pay Rate: $35.00/hr. on w2 without benefits
Location: 41 West Road, Bldg. 74 Cranston, RI, 02920
Duration: 12+ months
Note:Hybrid Position (within 30-40 miles) will need to come onsite to the office once every couple of weeks and attend community meetings that can be up to 4x per month.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Administration, Project Management, Social Sciences).
- Experience in addressing housing concerns.
- Public speaking experience.
- Experience in Project Management.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Gathering data, research and stakeholder feedback on the needs of the target population, those at or below 250% of the federal poverty level.
- Building system capacity for special projects including improving efficiency and identifying barriers.
- Manage the flow of the data, application reviews, training, and public communication. To include timeline, objectives, and responsibilities.
- Conduct application screenings and reviews
- Enter data into HMIS
- Analysis benefit cliffs and propose opportunities to address based on research, both empirical and methods obtained by collaboration from other states.
- Responsible for all communication regarding projects including written summaries, work plans, reports, conducting meetings and public presentations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Administration, Project Management, Social Sciences).
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in social development contexts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in addressing housing concerns and public benefits knowledge.
- Public speaking experience and the development of presentations.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
