Job Description

Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor (Service Manager) to join its property management team at an apartment community in Foxboro, MA.

The Supervisor role requires effective evaluation and response to a broad range of maintenance needs to ensure the efficient operation of the community. The ideal candidate will be honest, self-directed, organized, able to multitask, and work well with both co-workers and residents.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Electrical
• Plumbing
• HVAC
• Appliance Repair
• Locks & Keys
• Basic Carpentry
• Painting and Drywall Repair
• Janitorial, Grounds, and Snow Removal

Requirements:

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter
• Excellent customer service skills
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance
• On-call availability for emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays
• Skilled in routine apartment maintenance and handling administrative tasks related to vendors/contractors
• Timely response to maintenance issues
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED and valid driver’s license
• Minimum 5 years of related maintenance experience with supervisory responsibilities, including basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and overseeing capital projects
