The University of Chicago is seeking a Program Manager/Research Professional to work within the Institute for Population and Precision Health (IPPH). Based in the BSD IPP - Finance unit, you will help manage the NIH-funded Chicago Center for Health and Environment and related cores.

You will coordinate administrative and financial operations, assist with grants and study protocols, supervise staff, and liaise with partners in Bangladesh and southeast Chicago to advance precision health research.

Qualifications

• Education: college or university degree in related field.
• 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Experience with financial management of multi-source budgets; experience reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.
• Progressively responsible experience in research program management is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop objectives and design of research and data collection procedures.
• Provide high-level administrative support for project goals.
• Ensure compliance with sponsor regulations and policies.
• Analyze data and provide feedback to research teams on project fidelity.
• Support development and writing of grants, study protocols, papers, and progress reports.
• Identify opportunities to replicate or refine research approaches based on project needs.
• Plan, assign, and review work to ensure group objectives are met.
