Job summary

The Program Manager/Research Professional works closely with the Institute Director to manage two main research programs within the Institute for Population and Precision Health (IPPH) in the Biological Sciences Division at the University of Chicago.

This at-will position oversees administrative and financial operations, ensures compliance with sponsor requirements, and supports grant development and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in research program management.
• Experience with financial management of multi-source budgets; prepares financial reports.
• Experience with grants, IRB protocols, and federal/nonfederal funds.

Responsibilities

• Develop objectives and design of research and data collection procedures.
• Ensure compliance with sponsor regulations and policies; analyze data and provide feedback.
• Assist with grants, protocols, papers, and progress reports.
• Oversee administrative Core activities and coordinate with UC/UIC.
