Job summary

The University of Chicago's Institute for Population and Precision Health (IPPH) seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator 2 to support MOSAAIC, a NHLBI-funded cohort study addressing cardiovascular, metabolic, pulmonary, and mental health in Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities.

You will oversee participant recruitment, IRB compliance, data and biospecimen collection, quality control, and milestone reporting, working with Scientific Directors and the Research Manager to

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and quality control management for observational and interventional studies within IPPH.
• Support operational execution of multi-institutional and some international studies.
• Oversee collection of clinical data, survey data, environmental data, and biospecimens.
• Manage IRB submissions, amendments, continuing reviews; develop data collection instruments; ensure protocol compliance; milestone reporting.
• Drive participant engagement through screening, recruitment, informed consent, data and specimen collection, and retention.
• Monitor study participants and schedule procedures (interviews, phlebotomies, follow-ups).
• Collaborate with Scientific Directors and Research Manager in planning, development, and evaluation of research.
• Coordinate data acquisition, entry, QC, and query response to ensure timely data flow.
