Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a Program Manager to plan, organize, and direct all aspects of a mid to large scale program within our healthcare environment in Los Angeles. You’ll provide leadership for day-to-day operations, governance, and strategy alignment with organizational goals.

You will oversee objectives, processes, and standards, with potential supervision of staff related to the program. A PMP certification and 5 years of PM experience are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of management, program or project management experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, management, business or related field preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience with performance improvement and data analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, and manage all aspects of a mid to large scale program.
  • Lead strategic planning, design, development and implementation of program objectives and standards.
  • May supervise staff related to overall program management.

What you will be doing in this role:

The Program Manager plans, organizes, directs, and manages all aspects of a mid to large scale recognized organizational program. Provides leadership, guidance, and direction for day-to-day program operations and administrative activities, including the authority to make independent decisions regarding program operations, administration, and governance. Leads and/or contributes to the short-term and long-term strategic planning, design, development and implementation of program objectives, processes and standards. May supervise staff as it relates to the overall management of the program.
Note: A program is an ongoing organizational initiative with defined objectives and scope, but without a defined end or completion date.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma/GED - minimum
  • Bachelor's Degree Healthcare, Management, Business or related field - preferred

Experience

  • 5 years Management, Program or Project Management, or related experience - minimum
  • Performance improvement experience - preferred
