Job summary

Messer Americas is seeking a Program Manager to grow the MGIM business by leading a high-performing application engineering sales team and supporting the Director with strategy and annual plans.

The role emphasizes collaboration with customers, sales teams and internal engineering groups to deliver profitable growth, lead generation and brand awareness in targeted sectors. Occasional travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering is required; chemical preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in application sales for industrial gases.
• Experience with oxygen/ enhanced combustion in metals or glass is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build a high-performing application engineering sales team with technical expertise.
• Collaborate with development teams to train engineers and provide field support.
• Coach on deal structures and lead, develop value-driven proposals.
• Foster relationships with customers, sales directors and account managers.
• Support annual business goals and regional growth.
