Job summary

Precinmac is a leading diversified manufacturer of high-tolerance precision machined components and assemblies, with a west coast presence. The Project/Program Manager owns planning, execution, and reporting for the engineering and operations project portfolio across sites, delivering customer ramp on schedule and maintaining capital projects, NPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role runs G0–G5 phase gates, manages budgets and schedules, and serves as the single point of contact

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of project or program management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing capital equipment projects, including installation and qualification.
• Working knowledge of a formal new product introduction or stage gate process.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong skills in planning, scheduling, risk management, and status communication.
• Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Own the planning, execution, and reporting of the engineering and operations project portfolio across West Coast sites.
• Run the NPI phase gate process from G0 through G5 and manage capital projects from approval through qualification.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Facilities and vendors to meet milestones and budgets.
• Produce weekly status reports and keep leadership informed on risks and actions.
• Maintain phase gate checklist, tracker, and SOP; train new participants on the process.
• Manage CI projects portfolio and ensure alignment with site strategy and objectives.
