Job summary

Kansas Leadership Center in Wichita, KS seeks a Program Manager to execute events, speaking engagements and programs hosted at the Kansas Leadership Center Conference Center. You will oversee timelines, production, design, and partner relationships within the Civic Leadership Development Unit.

The role collaborates with the Director of Programs to deliver core and custom leadership programs, manage budgets, and ensure high-quality participant experiences.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent years of related working experience.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in program development, relationship management, and/or event planning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to express ideas both orally and in writing, to a variety of constituencies.
• Demonstrated time management, facilitation, and organizational skills and ability to meet target goals/outcomes and timelines.
• Demonstrated a growth mindset and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the Programs Team, collaborating with the Director of Programs to manage assigned programs and events for excellent delivery and participant experience.
• Support core and custom Leadership Development Programs, Speaking Engagements and partnerships while adhering to scope and budget.
• Identify and implement processes to streamline program execution across the Civic Leadership Development Unit.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff related to program management processes.
