Job summary

Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. seeks a Program Manager to lead multiple aerospace/EO sensor programs from planning through execution.

You'll coordinate schedules, budgets, and technical performance while guiding engineering, design, and production teams to meet customer requirements and take responsibility for risk management and contingency planning. The role demands strong communication, collaboration with subcontractors, and the ability to influence decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering or Sciences or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience managing complex programs across engineering, production, subcontractors, sales and marketing.
• Technical experience in optical or infrared sensors, optics, or electronics.

Responsibilities

• Generates, manages and coordinates program plans, schedules, budgets and technical performance for SBIR programs.
• Provides leadership to engineering, design, and production teams for program deliverables and manages stakeholder expectations.
• Interacts with customer program stakeholders to provide status and understand requirements and expectations.
