Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Program Manager, Implementation & Governance Administration to lead strategic implementation initiatives and serve as the team’s governance lead for board activities. You will coordinate cross-functional workstreams, manage schedules, materials, and communications for board-related matters, and drive project momentum.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Minimum three (3) years of project management, healthcare operations, strategic programs, governance administration, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting Boards, executive governance, joint ventures, or complex healthcare projects preferred.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned strategic implementation projects from project initiation through operational readiness, first patient or transaction completion, and stabilization, as applicable.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, decision points, and action items for assigned initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and facilitate project meetings to maintain alignment, accountability, and timely execution.
  • Identify project risks, barriers, and dependencies; develop mitigation plans and elevate issues to the Director as appropriate.
  • Serve as the functional lead for administrative joint venture Board activities under the direction of the Director.
  • Maintain annual and recurring Board calendars, coordinate meeting scheduling, and support Board member and partner communications.
  • Coordinate agendas, presentations, Board books, supporting materials, minutes, resolutions, approvals, action-item tracking, and governance records.
  • Maintain standardized Board administration tools, templates, trackers, records, and processes across the joint venture portfolio.
  • Coordinate with the Director, JV Development & Regulatory Strategy and Legal on governance documents, approvals, closing-related Board actions, amendments, and other matters requiring legal coordination.
  • Support administrative CON activities for assigned projects, including document coordination, data collection, timeline tracking, submission support, progress-report support, and maintenance of regulatory project records under the direction of regulatory leadership.
  • Maintain accurate project status in the department's project management platform and prepare concise status reports and leadership updates.
  • Support development and continuous improvement of Strategic Programs & Governance standards, templates, and playbooks.
  • Build effective relationships with operational leaders, JV partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.

The Program Manager, Implementation & Governance Administration manages assigned strategic implementation initiatives while serving as the team's functional lead for administrative joint venture Board activities. The position manages projects across the Strategic Programs portfolio, which may include IRFs, behavioral health hospitals, BHUs, ARUs, IOP/MSOP programs, expansions, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other strategic initiatives.

In addition to implementation responsibilities, the Program Manager supports the Director's accountability for Board Management by coordinating Board calendars, meetings, materials, records, action items, and other administrative governance activities. The position works cross-functionally to maintain project momentum, identify risks, coordinate deliverables, and support consistent execution.

How you'll contribute
