Job summary

The Providence Center is seeking a Program Manager II to oversee daily operations of two or more teams delivering peer support and recovery services for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

You will lead staff, coordinate with clinical teams, manage budgets, ensure compliance and outcomes, and promote trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care while building partnerships with community providers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with strong supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a peer support setting; leadership experience valued.
  • Minimum 5 years lived experience with substance use and/or mental health disorders.
  • Experience in behavioral and/or mental health settings preferred.
  • Must have valid driver's license and be insured.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily team operations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage program budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Support staff hiring, onboarding, training and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with HR on disciplinary actions and staff development.
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure comprehensive, recovery-oriented care.
  • Monitor program outcomes and prepare reports for leadership and funders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and accreditation standards.
