Job summary

Google is seeking a Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects spanning offices, time zones, and hemispheres. You will plan requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and communicate progress with cross-functional partners across the company.

The role sits within the Data Centers, Central Operations and focuses on Spares Readiness to ensure spare parts availability. Experience in agile environments and Lean/Six Sigma is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience in infrastructure operations, supply chain operations, data center operations, or manufacturing.
• Experience managing critical spare parts processes and systems.
• 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver predictable program communication plans in collaboration with program stakeholders, including targeted communications by stakeholder type.
• Determine phasing and metrics associated with program lifecycle that effectively address continuous improvement including Resource Stewardship in close collaboration with program stakeholders, including near- and long-term objectives.
• Determine and collect data required to execute and govern programs effectively. Independently maintain project trackers and status reports. Identify and execute on program tasks including proactively managing dependencies.
• Execute change management requirements that are identified by program stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, including managing expectations of program stakeholders and ensuring they have the insights they need to make effective decisions.
