Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Program Manager for its Data Centers Central Operations Spares Readiness team. You will lead multi-disciplinary programs, coordinating with stakeholders across offices and time zones to plan requirements, schedules, risks, and communications.

The role focuses on improving spare parts readiness and sustaining programs that ensure data centers have parts available when needed. Requires PM experience and cross-functional collaboration in a technical, agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of program or project management experience.
• Experience in infrastructure operations, supply chain operations, data center operations, or manufacturing.
• Experience managing critical spare parts processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver predictable program communication plans in collaboration with program stakeholders, including targeted communications by stakeholder type.
• Determine phasing and metrics associated with program lifecycle that effectively address continuous improvement including Resource Stewardship in close collaboration with program stakeholders, including near- and long-term objectives.
• Determine and collect data required to execute and govern programs effectively. Independently maintain project trackers and status reports. Identify and execute on program tasks including proactively managing dependencies.
• Execute change management requirements that are identified by program stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, including managing expectations of program stakeholders and ensuring they have the insights they need to make effective decisions.
