Job summary

Google is seeking a Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion, coordinating requirements, schedules, risks, and stakeholder communications across offices and time zones. You will oversee deployment of new Compute and Storage servers, driving operational excellence in the data center environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning and execution in a new product introduction (NPI) role.
• Experience in supply chain operations in asset management, manufacturing, procurement, commodity management, or supplier management.
• Experience in program or project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, define requirements with internal customers, and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle.
• Own on-time delivery performance of compute, storage, and networking capacity.
• Drive efforts to improve efficiency, cycle times, and predictability of data center execution tasks.
• Communicate health, status and actions to stakeholders including data center execution teams, management and partner organizations.
• Oversee and ensure successful execution and delivery of plans and strategies; troubleshoot issues, identify risk areas and develop mitigation strategies.
