Job summary

Google is seeking a Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from initiation to delivery in an on-site setting in the United States. The role emphasizes coordinating requirements, schedules, risks, and cross-functional communications across offices and time zones.

You will drive executive-level communications and stakeholder engagement for programs spanning data center and AI infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• 5 years of experience with data center equipment/environments, including electrical switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems and fire safety systems, and experience with start up/commissioning processes.
• 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and standard practices in the design and construction industry, including track design build processes and associated documents and agreement.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver optimized program communication plans including executive and key partner communications.
• Establish phasing and metrics associated with program life-cycle that effectively address continuous improvement including resource stewardship (effective deployment of machine and people resources), including near and long-term objectives.
• Identify and collect data required to govern programs and effectively drive stakeholder decision-making.
• Anticipate change management requirements that are required by program stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, including managing expectations of senior cross-functional leads and ensuring they have the insights they need to make effective decisions.
