Job summary

Google is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary data center programs from start to finish, coordinating requirements, schedules, risks, and cross-functional partners across offices and time zones.

This role focuses on execution of data center operations, coordinating materials and resources, and scaling the Operations Command Center for end-to-end visibility. Individual pay is determined by experience and education.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of program or project management experience.
• 8 years of experience managing programs and processes across distributed systems.
• 5 years in a leadership role.
• 5 years in a customer-facing role supporting in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities operations or projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the effective execution of planning, scheduling, and control processes for data center operational activities.
• Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to synchronize efforts and sequence materials and resources.
• Lead the design, launch, and scaling of the Operations Command Center for end-to-end visibility across deployments.
• Shift and deploy teams in advance of work, develop and maintain schedules, and optimize resources.
• Gather requirements, organize resources, prioritize tasks, and ensure objectives are met on time and within budget.
