JOB TITLE: Program Manager II
LOCATION: 100% remote (PST)
DURATION: 12 month contract
PAY RANGE: $44 - $54/hr

TOP 3 SKILLS:

  1. Data and Modelling – comfortable with pulling their own data, developing decision and analytical models
  2. Supply or demand planning role - preferably in infrastructure (not necessarily required)
  3. Partnership or collaboration, working with different nodes in the supply chain

Our client is a Fortune 500 multi-national technology company headquartered in Menlo Park, CA.

Overview

We’re seeking a Program Manager to support our AI, Compute, and Storage commodity planning team within our Infrastructure Team. The role demands an understanding of supply chain dynamics, a strong quantitative background, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members. You will play a critical role in developing new tools for our planning team, working with internal and external stakeholders to develop new processes and manage the planning for one or more commodities. This role presents an opportunity to drive a crucial supply chain initiative in a dynamic environment and significantly impact our operations' performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the planning team in creating rack/commodity supply plans, validate supply responses from suppliers, and communicate supply commitments internally.
  • Develop and utilize advanced analytics to understand shortages, identify priorities, and work with the Sourcing and Operations teams to resolve any supply-demand gaps.
  • Work cross-functionally across our supply chain organization to ensure timely and accurate data setup in our systems.
  • Utilize Oracle to manage planning processes. Collaborate with our Enterprise Products team and data management teams to continually enhance automation, efficiency, and data accuracy.
  • Create weekly/monthly KPIs and prepare communications for upper management.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain-related roles or other quantitative roles with an understanding of supply chain.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics/data management.
  • Proficient with planning tools and ERP software (Oracle, SAP, o9, Kinaxis, Anaplan, or custom solutions).
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to drive partner data input and rapidly validate/verify accuracy across multiple data sources.
  • Ability to synthesize data quickly and communicate risk areas to broader business teams.
  • Experience creating communications across different organizational levels, from individual contributors to senior management.

Must Have Skills:

  1. Data and Modelling – ability to pull data, develop decision and analytical models
  2. Supply or demand planning, preferably in infrastructure
  3. Partnership or collaboration, working with different nodes in the supply chain

Nice to Have

  • Demand, supply, materials, or inventory planning experience
  • Technical and analytical skills: experience creating dynamic models using Google Sheets/Excel, SQL
  • Experience working with cross-functional partners

Education:

Finance/Business bachelor’s degree

Interview Process:

Two rounds, 30 minutes each (behavioral, quantitative, modeling skills, supply chain knowledge)

Note: This role will not involve supplier management or coding beyond Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau, SQL. Focus is on being a supply chain generalist who can help establish internal processes and tools with data.
