If you are an experienced Program or Project Manager looking to drive impactful change, Emerson Test and Measurement (T&M) business group has an opening for you! As a Program Manager (Level 6) based onsite in Austin, Texas, a minimum of 4 days a week, you will lead major pivotal initiatives across integration management and site strategy to ensure critical business outcomes. Future focus areas may include enterprise Global Operations projects or programs. You will collaborate with senior leaders, using project management, Lean Six Sigma process design, and change management methodologies to drive business transformation and operational excellence!

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Lead transformational initiatives aligned with the T&M strategy, ensuring measurable business impact.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle, using standard project management tools and best practices, including detailed project plans, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Develop actionable deliverables, such as decision logs, risk assessments, communication strategies, and performance metrics.
  • Build positive relationships with internal and external customers, influencing senior leadership and driving alignment.
  • Apply analytical thinking to tackle sophisticated challenges and optimize business processes.
  • Utilize project management, process improvement, and change management methodologies to deliver sustainable results.
  • Establish policy and business rules that drive global efficiency while addressing regional needs.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies that ensure smooth adoption and integration.
  • Apply continuous improvement methodologies to enhance workflows and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Identify and address barriers to change, implementing solutions that drive adoption and success.

Who You Are:

You are a strategic and results-driven project manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You balance multiple priorities with strong problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking skills. You proactively collaborate across teams, align customers, and implement solutions that drive lasting business impact.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of experience in business project management. Formal project management certifications or training preferred.
  • 3 years of experience leading complex change initiatives within a project plan, ensuring flawless integration into overall execution.
  • Experience in business process management, with Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred, or an interest in obtaining these certifications.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
