Job summary

Albertina Kerr in Cornelius, OR, seeks a Program Manager to lead a neighborhood group home, mentor staff, and implement individual support plans. You will coordinate services for each person, stay on-site, and help maintain staffing ratios, acting as the primary contact for staff almost around the clock.

The ideal candidate has group home and management experience, strong leadership and English communication skills, and a commitment to nurturing and inclusive communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years of attendant care experience in a setting regulated by the Oregon Department of Human Services or the Oregon Health Authority.
• For programs serving children, two years of professional experience delivering supports to children.
• At least one year of experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating the work of two or more individuals preferred.
• Verbal and written English proficiency sufficient to communicate with people we support, co-workers, and community members.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to relate effectively with clients and families.
• Ability to respond to crisis situations in a calm professional manner.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75lbs.
• Licensed driver with at least two years' driving experience, and no more than 2 driving infractions in the past 2 years required.
• A criminal background check is required.

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Program Manager who is ready to lead and empower our neighborhood group home to help each individual we support achieve their full potential.

As a Program Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of support. You will lead, mentor, and train staff to implement our core competencies, policies and procedures, and administrative rules to ensure the development and implementation of individual support plans. You will also be responsible for coordinating any necessary or desired services for each individual. You will fill-in as a Direct Support Professional when necessary to ensure staffing ratios and act as primary contact for staff 24 hours per day, 5 days per week. You will be key in preventing and resolving conflicts and leading and managing change. This is an on-site position in a youth residential group home in Cornelius, OR. Our ideal candidate will have group home and management experience and is energized by leading teams to provide incredible programs and services for the people we support.
