Job summary

CesiumAstro, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager I to drive successful execution of satellite and space program initiatives. You will coordinate plans, schedules, resources, and cross-functional activities to meet customer commitments and business objectives.

You will work with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Product Management, and Business Development to manage risk, control costs, and ensure on-time delivery across internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a related field with program/production experience.
• Strong knowledge of PM principles, planning, risk management, and customer management.
• Experience with lifecycle management, development, production planning, and execution.
• Experience using PM tools, ERP systems, and reporting applications.
• Analytical thinker with ability to assess performance and propose solutions.
• Excellent organization, multi-tasking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of programs by developing plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities to align cost, schedule, technical, and quality goals.
• Monitor performance and recommend corrective actions for schedule or cost risks.
• Support product development, production, and delivery activities.
• Serve as primary contact for customers on routine execution activities.
• Coordinate meetings, reviews, status reports, and action items.
• Maintain productive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate status, risks, and milestones to leadership and customers.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to meet program objectives.
• Facilitate IPT meetings, program reviews, and planning sessions.
• Identify risks and dependencies and coordinate mitigations.
• Assist with proposal transitions, kickoff, and production readiness.
• Support PM process improvements and operational initiatives.
• Maintain program documentation, schedules, risk logs, and trackers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PM processes and methods.
