Job description

The Program Manager for the UAF Honors College plays a vital role in advancing student success through innovative programming, experiential learning opportunities, and strategic partnerships. This position oversees the day-to-day operations of the Honors College, including program planning, budget management, assessment and reporting, course scheduling, and faculty coordination. The Program Manager collaborates with faculty, campus partners, and community organizations to develop enriching educational experiences, internships, research opportunities, and student engagement initiatives. Additionally, this role leads recruitment and outreach efforts, manages the Honors College's marketing and digital presence, and serves as a key ambassador for the program to prospective students, families, and stakeholders. Through a combination of strategic planning, relationship building, and creative problem-solving, the Program Manager helps create a dynamic and supportive Honors College experience for UAF students.

They excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. Position Details

This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 80, based on education and experience.

A valid Alaska Driver's License and clean driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving Criteria.
