Planned Parenthood of Illinois (PPIL) leads the CHAT program in partnership with the Chicago Department of Public Health to prevent STI transmission and unintended pregnancy among teens. The role oversees grant deliverables, staff planning, and program operations in Chicago and surrounding areas.

The Program Manager will supervise specialists, drive school-based testing initiatives, and collaborate across departments to align outreach and education efforts with health centers and community

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required, or an Associate’s with equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in program management and community outreach; 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Experience in HIV/STI prevention, testing, and youth education.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild and manage the CHAT program across CPS, City Colleges of Chicago, and youth organizations.
• Supervise Specialists and coordinate school testing and follow-up procedures.
• Develop recruitment, scheduling, and outreach with CHAT program recipients.
• Represent PPIL in partnerships and coordinate with CDPH, CPS, and health centers.
