Job summary

Common Threads is seeking a Program Manager in Chicago to oversee planning, coordination, and delivery of programs across the area. You will work with schools, community partners, healthcare institutions, and instructors to ensure high quality, compliant programming that meets grant and contract requirements.

The role requires strong organization, relationship management, and the ability to juggle multiple programs and deadlines, with regular local travel to partner sites and occasional travel

Qualifications

• Experience in project or program management within nonprofit settings.
• Background in youth programming, nutrition education, or community health.
• Ability to manage multiple programs, deadlines, and partner relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day implementation of school-based, healthcare, and community programs in Chicago.
• Coordinate with schools, partners, and healthcare entities to schedule and implement programs.
• Develop schedules, materials, and internal tracking tools for program delivery.
• Monitor enrollment, attendance, progress, and program outcomes against goals.
• Support Chef Instructors with scheduling, training, and onboarding when needed.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, grants, and organizational policies.
• Maintain data in Salesforce and prepare partner reports and evaluations.
