MY Project USA is a nonprofit organization serving youth, families, and communities across Central Ohio through mentorship, education, violence prevention, food access, workforce development, and community support programs.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking an experienced, mission‑driven Program Manager to support leadership, oversee organizational programs, improve operational systems, ensure grant compliance, and help drive measurable impact across our initiatives.

The Program Manager will provide leadership and operational support to advance MY Project USA’s mission and organizational goals. This role works closely with the Executive Director to manage programs, monitor performance, support grant compliance, coordinate staff and volunteers, improve reporting systems, and strengthen partnerships across the community.

This is an ideal role for a strong nonprofit professional who excels in program management, compliance, data reporting, team coordination, and community engagement. This position may open for promotion into executive leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Management & Oversight
  • Support the Executive Director in overseeing multiple programs and initiatives
  • Monitor implementation timelines, deliverables, and program outcomes
  • Track performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure programs align with organizational goals and funding requirements
  • Help solve operational challenges and improve internal systems
    Support strategic planning and program development initiatives
Grant Compliance & Financial Coordination
  • Monitor grant and contract compliance requirements
  • Ensure grant‑funded activities align with reporting and funding expectations
  • Track budgets, allowable expenses, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Coordinate grant reports, attendance records, narratives, and supporting documentation
  • Maintain organized records for audits, reviews, and compliance monitoring
  • Work with leadership and finance teams on grant oversight and accountability
Team Leadership & Coordination
  • Support, motivate, and coordinate staff, youth leaders, interns, and volunteers
  • Conduct regular check‑ins with teams regarding progress and operational needs
  • Assist with onboarding, scheduling, and training support
  • Promote accountability, collaboration, and a mission‑driven culture
  • Help strengthen staff communication and program implementation systems
Data Collection & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain systems for program tracking and impact measurement
  • Collect, organize, and analyze program data and key performance indicators
  • Prepare internal reports and assist with external reporting requirements
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely submission of data
  • Support leadership in evaluating program outcomes and identifying improvements
Community Engagement & Partnerships
  • Represent MY Project USA professionally at meetings, trainings, and events
  • Strengthen relationships with schools, funders, community partners, and stakeholders
  • Support outreach, collaboration, and partnership‑building initiatives
  • Assist in advancing community‑based impact across Central Ohio
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in nonprofit management, public administration, business, social services, education, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered)
  • 3–5 years of experience in nonprofit program management, operations, grant coordination, or leadership support
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Experience managing multiple programs, deadlines, and reporting requirements
  • Understanding of grant compliance, program accountability, and reporting systems
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast‑paced nonprofit environments
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Proficiency in:
    Microsoft Office Suite
    Google Workspace
    Spreadsheets and reporting systems
    Data tracking and organizational tools
Preferred
  • Experience working with youth development, workforce development, violence prevention, education, or community‑based nonprofit programs
  • Experience with grant‑funded organizations
  • Familiarity with performance measurement, impact reporting, and evaluation tools
  • Experience coordinating staff, interns, or volunteers
  • Bilingual or multicultural communication skills

Tuesday through Saturday

Schedule may vary based on operational needs, events, rentals, pickups, or community activities

Evening or weekend hours may occasionally be required
