Job summary

Partners for Rural Impact in Kentucky seeks a Program Manager to lead the Full-Service Community Schools (FSCS) grant across Middlesboro, Pineville, and Harlan Independent Schools. Reporting to the Project Director, you will oversee day‑to‑day program operations, staff supervision, and grant compliance.

The role emphasizes data-informed decision making, fiscal stewardship, and collaboration with school leaders and community partners to improve outcomes for students and families.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in personnel, program, and fiscal management.
  • Experience with federal grants compliance with budget responsibility.
  • Knowledge of school reform, college/career readiness, and evaluation.
  • Commitment to all rural students’ success; familiarity with full-service community school model.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with finance, statistics, and data management.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel regionally and nationally.

Responsibilities

  • Support grant management and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Oversee project components, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Supervise staff and guide program planning and evaluation.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of the Full-Service Community Schools model across sites.
  • Collaborate with PRI staff to design training materials and deliver training.
  • Monitor finances and ensure fiscal integrity of the program.
  • Lead data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform decisions.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with school leaders and community partners.
  • Perform other duties to support All Rural Students Succeed.
