Job summary

Unity House is seeking a dedicated professional to empower people in recovery and with developmental disabilities in a supportive, team-based environment.

The role requires an associates degree (bachelors preferred), at least three years in human services, and prior supervisory experience. Strong communication, leadership, and empathy are essential; travel and a NYS driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Associates-Degree required; Bachelor's-Degree preferred.
• Three-years experience in relevant human services field required.
• Present or past supervisory experience required.
• Computer skills and keyboarding familiarity required.
• Ability to be flexible and work in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communications and leadership/managerial skills essential.
• Evidence of understanding and empathy for the population served.
• OASAS regulations and budgets knowledge preferred.
• NYS Driver's License required; ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week with rotating on-call.
• Shift: Monday - Friday 7a-3p.
