Job summary

Unity House in New York is seeking a dedicated program supervisor to support people with disabilities within an inclusive environment. You will oversee staff, coordinate services, and promote recovery, self-determination, and community integration for individuals facing mental health challenges and related barriers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with three years of relevant experience required.
• Associate's degree in Human Services or a related field preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing mental illness, substance use disorders, trauma histories, and other barriers to independent living while supporting recovery, self-determination, and community integration.
• Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office applications, electronic health records, and documentation systems required.
• Knowledge of OMH regulations, Medicaid documentation requirements, rehabilitative residential services, incident management, and residential program operations preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities, provide effective staff supervision and coaching, exercise sound judgment, and build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be able to be reached by phone and have a vehicle available to conduct organization business.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required in accordance with Unity House policies; ability to travel throughout the surrounding area.
