Job summary

Unity House is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Cayuga County, New York. You will provide direct support to individuals in recovery, mental health, or developmental disability programs while complying with policies and transporting clients as needed.

The role requires a High School diploma/GED and a valid NYS driver's license. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for growth and benefits with full-time status.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with 2 years' relevant human services experience required.
• Must be reachable by phone and have a vehicle to transport Unity House business; travel required throughout Cayuga County.
• Evidence of understanding and empathy for the Mental Health population.
• Ability to be flexible to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills a must.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required according with regulations and Unity House policies/procedures.
