Job summary

Unity House is seeking a capable supervisor to lead a team dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and those in recovery. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and compliant documentation in a person-centered setting.

The position requires a High School Diploma/GED (Associate's preferred), supervisory experience, and a valid NYS driver’s license with travel across the surrounding area. Flexible hours and strong benefits are offered for full-time work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; three years of relevant experience preferred.
• Associate's degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to support individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, trauma histories, and other barriers to independent living.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written skills.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, EHRs, and documentation systems required.
• Knowledge of OMH regulations, Medicaid documentation, rehabilitative residential services, incident management preferred.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and supervise staff while building collaborative relationships.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities, provide effective staff supervision and coaching, exercise sound judgment, and build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Must be able to be reached by phone and have a vehicle available to conduct organization business
• Valid NYS Driver's License required in accordance with Unity House policies; ability to travel throughout the surrounding area
