Based in the Washington, DC area with travel ~25‑50%, the role demands experience leading geographically dispersed teams, strong leadership, and a current TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of program management experience, including federal programs.
• Experience standing up new facilities, programs, or operations from initial start-up.
• Strong communication, leadership, and relationship‑management skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams.
• TS/SCI clearance is required for this position; applicants must be eligible for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of accountability for program cost, schedule, and performance across all facility locations.
• Drive execution against a firm, milestone‑based delivery schedule—anticipating obstacles, removing roadblocks, and keeping deliverables moving.
• Stand up program operations from the ground up, including kickoff, integrated master scheduling, staffing pipeline activation, and early wins that build customer confidence.
• Manage and mentor a geographically dispersed team of functional and technical leads, setting a fast pace and high standard.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government customers, subcontractors, and industry partners.
• Identify and shape follow‑on and adjacent opportunities that grow the program through demonstrated delivery.
• Report program status, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership and the customer with candor and urgency.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, security, and quality requirements across all sites.
