Job summary

Upward Bound House seeks a BFH Program Manager to lead the Bringing Families Home program, supporting families experiencing homelessness or housing instability involved with child welfare systems. The role supervises staff, ensures contract compliance, and coordinates with DCFS and housing partners to improve family outcomes.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, improving workflows, ensuring HMIS documentation, and driving program quality through data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Health, Psychology, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in housing, case management, or child welfare programs.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the BFH program.
• Supervise case management and support staff with coaching and feedback.
• Coordinate rapid re-housing and housing placement for families.
• Collaborate with DCFS and system partners to align services.
• Ensure HMIS documentation and contract performance are accurate and timely.
• Drive program improvements using data and referrals.
