Google's Alphabet Enterprise Risk Management team is seeking a senior leader to strengthen the enterprise-wide risk framework across the organization. You will identify risks, develop methodologies, and report on mitigation progress to executives and the board.
You will coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Product partners, build sustainable risk capabilities, and drive stakeholder engagement and training to embed strong governance.
The Alphabet Enterprise Risk Management team's mission is to improve risk accountability and transparency across Google through a common governance framework and aligned risk management practices. As part of this team, you will play a key role in providing management and our board of directors assurance that we have an enterprise risk framework that is relevant, adequately frames, informs, monitors, and actions our risks in a fast-paced and ever-changing business. This role supports all aspects of the enterprise-wide risk management program, and will interact with leaders across the organization. Responsibilities include identification of enterprise-wide risks, development and implementation of methodologies for the assessment of risk through the organization, and reporting and monitoring risk mitigation progress. Emphasis will also be placed on building sustainable risk management practices and capabilities throughout the organization through targeted stakeholder engagement and training opportunities.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $136,000 - $196,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
