Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 15+ years of project management, coordination, telecommunications, or infrastructure experience.
  • Experience with fiber optic, structured cabling, network infrastructure, or low-voltage projects.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects and schedules in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with ISP/OSP and DoD/federal programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support multiple DISA, DoD, and federal telecommunications projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, budgets, risk logs, and deliverable schedules.
  • Coordinate ISP/OSP fiber, structured cabling, telecommunications, network infrastructure, AV/VTC, and related activities.
  • Serve as primary coordination point between government customers, technical teams, subcontractors, vendors, and leadership.
  • Coordinate site surveys, design reviews, installation activities, testing, inspections, and closeout.
  • Coordinate work within DoD environments, including access, escorts, maintenance windows, and change-control requirements.
  • Review SOWs, PWSs, drawings, specifications, BOMs, and subcontractor proposals.
  • Monitor scope, schedule impacts, risks, and procurement concerns.
  • Coordinate equipment and material procurement and track long-lead items.
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor coordination and monitor performance against requirements.
  • Coordinate fiber optic installation, splicing, testing, labeling, and certification activities.
  • Coordinate structured cabling installation, cabling pathways, patch panels, terminations, and testing.
  • Coordinate with electrical, facilities, construction, and other project activities.
  • Coordinate outages, cutovers, migrations, and other activities affecting operations.
  • Maintain project documentation including minutes, status reports, and closeout packages.
  • Prepare RFIs, project correspondence, and status updates for customers.
  • Lead or participate in kickoff and status meetings and government briefings.
  • Provide concise program reporting on milestones, budget, risks, and decisions.
  • Track deliverables, materials, field activities, testing, and milestones through completion.
  • Assist with subcontract administration and project records.
  • Support estimating, planning, staffing, and development of execution strategies.
