Job summary

BAMSI in Millis, MA seeks a Program Manager to oversee all aspects of a residential program, coordinating care, support services, and operations. The role collaborates with nurses, staff, and upper management to ensure quality service in community-based settings.

The position requires managing staff, ensuring safety and compliance, and delivering person-centered plans while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and leadership.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; plus 1 year in related field and 1 year in supervisory role, or 2 years in related field.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence.
• Basic computer literacy, including ability to record data, use electronic time and attendance software and email.
• Effective critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct care and coordination of services to adults with disabilities in supervised settings, emphasizing safety and dignity.
• Maintain ongoing professional communication with supervisor, coworkers, BAMSI departments, and stakeholders.
• Support individuals in developing person-centered ISPs and monitor progress toward goals.
• Ensure Positive Behavior Supports practices are applied to create a thoughtful, supportive environment.
• Organize activities for meaningful engagement in the community and promote independence.
• Follow DPH MAP policies including training, medication administration, documentation.
• Assist with personal care tasks and ADLs as needed.
• Ensure program coverage in line with funding source standards.
• Staff management: interview, hire, supervise, train, and conduct meetings.
• Quality management: identify program needs, report incidents, manage funds and ensure safety.
