Job summary

Danville Services is seeking a Program Manager to lead Direct Support and oversee daily operations across homes and offices. You will supervise DSP staff, ensure safe client care ratios, and drive community integration with hands-on leadership.

You will coordinate budgets, schedules, and regulatory compliance while supporting client health needs and financial oversight. A background check and driver requirements apply, with full-time duties across local travel.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required plus 1 year of direct support experience.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver's license, insurable driving record (3+ years) and reliable vehicle.
• Pass initial and annual background check.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist transfers up to 250 lbs.
• Basic English communication, basic keyboarding and math skills.
• First Aid/CPR certification and SOAR training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and train Direct Support Professionals to promote morale, retention, and quality care.
• Provide hands-on direct support alongside team to maintain safe ratios and positive relationships.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members.
• Monitor staffing schedules, manage vacancies, payroll and overtime.
• Oversee program compliance, regulatory docs, safety drills, and deadlines.
• Manage program budgets, direct support logs, and vehicle maintenance requests.
• Coordinate weekly activity schedules, meal planning, and shopping.
• Support medical, health, and medication tracking needs for clients.
• Manage client funds and personal allowance ledgers per plans and security protocols.
