Job summary

Tate Inc. in Glasgow, KY is seeking a Program Manager to lead complex manufacturing and customer-facing programs supporting datacenter infrastructure products.

This role interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and executive leadership to ensure successful program execution from planning through deployment. The candidate will drive roadmaps, milestones, and governance while coordinating with multiple teams to meet commitments and business goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of program, operations, or manufacturing experience.
  • 5+ years leading large cross-functional programs in datacenter or hardware environments.
  • Experience with customer-facing programs and executive communications.

About The Role

The Program Manager is responsible for leading complex manufacturing and customer-facing programs that support the delivery of datacenter infrastructure products and solutions. This role serves as the primary interface between customers, manufacturing operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, and executive leadership to ensure successful execution of strategic programs from planning through deployment.

What You’ll Do
Program Leadership & Strategy
  • Own and manage the end-to-end execution of strategic manufacturing and datacenter customer programs.
  • Develop program roadmaps, governance structures, schedules, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Lead multiple interconnected projects and workstreams while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Drive program execution across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, Logistics, and Customer Success teams.
  • Establish program priorities and ensure execution against customer commitments and business goals.
Manufacturing & Operations Management
  • Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure production readiness, capacity planning, material availability, and schedule adherence.
  • Oversee key manufacturing milestones, including procurement, production, testing, quality validation, and shipment readiness.
  • Monitor factory performance and supply chain readiness to identify risks that may impact customer deliveries.
  • Ensure effective coordination with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics providers.
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction.
Customer Engagement & Executive Communications
  • Serve as the primary program liaison for strategic customers within the datacenter industry.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and issue management.
  • Lead customer program reviews, business updates, operational readiness discussions, and executive stakeholder meetings.
  • Provide customers with program status, risk assessments, mitigation plans, and delivery forecasts.
  • Manage customer escalations and drive timely resolution of critical issues.
  • Represent customer priorities within internal decision-making processes.
Delivery & Portfolio Management
  • Ensure successful execution of program deliverables across multiple projects and teams.
  • Monitor program performance through key operational and customer‑focused metrics.
  • Lead forecasting activities for production schedules, shipment commitments, and deployment readiness.
  • Manage dependencies across teams, suppliers, and customer organizations.
  • Ensure all pre‑shipment deliverables, quality requirements, testing, and documentation are completed prior to release.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks and operational constraints.
  • Develop contingency plans to address manufacturing, supply chain, and customer deployment challenges.
  • Lead cross‑functional problem‑solving efforts to resolve complex operational issues.
  • Implement best practices in program management, reporting, governance, and stakeholder communications.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority to achieve program objectives.
  • Provide executive‑level reporting on program status, financial impacts, risks, and strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate decision‑making among senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Mentor project managers and project coordinators supporting program execution.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.
Additional Expectation
  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related discipline; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • 7+ years of experience in Program Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related roles.
  • 5+ years of experience leading large-scale, cross‑functional programs in manufacturing, technology, hardware, or datacenter environments.
  • Experience managing customer‑facing programs and executive‑level stakeholder communications.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, production planning, and product delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
  • Experience with project and program management tools including Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, PgMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience supporting datacenter infrastructure, cloud deployments, server systems, networking equipment, or enterprise hardware solutions.
  • Knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI), product lifecycle management, and manufacturing ramp processes.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience managing global manufacturing operations and supplier ecosystems.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
