Title: Program Manager, Creative Technology and Enablement

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract (3 Months)

Compensation: $75.00 - $93.00/hr

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager, Creative Technology and Enablement to support our client, a large enterprise organization in the retail and consumer industry. This role will support creative technology and workflow transformation initiatives by coordinating interconnected workstreams, stakeholders, timelines, dependencies, and enablement activities. A key focus of this position will be ensuring teams are prepared to adopt new tools, workflows, and ways of working. The Program Manager will partner with subject-matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to translate program activity into clear communications, training and support materials, feedback mechanisms, and adoption activities. This is an individual contributor contract position with no direct reports or formal people-management responsibilities. Work Arrangement: Remote or hybrid. Candidates based in Minneapolis, MN will work in the office Tuesday through Thursday.

Job Description
  • Develop and maintain program plans, workstream roadmaps, sequencing plans, milestones, dependencies, decision logs, risk logs, and status reporting.
  • Coordinate interconnected workstreams across creative, marketing, product, engineering, operations, technology, and enablement teams.
  • Facilitate daily standups, working sessions, planning activities, retrospectives, and cross-functional program reviews.
  • Translate program objectives into structured workstreams, defined responsibilities, actionable next steps, and measurable progress.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, gaps, and areas requiring decisions while helping maintain momentum across multiple initiatives.
  • Identify and document enablement and adoption needs associated with new tools, workflows, and ways of working.
  • Partner with subject-matter experts and program stakeholders to develop communications, training materials, process guidance, demonstrations, and other adoption resources.
  • Establish and maintain feedback mechanisms to capture user input and inform improvements to tools, workflows, communications, and enablement materials.
  • Provide stakeholders with clear visibility into program progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, handoffs, and adoption needs.
  • Develop playbooks, process documentation, frameworks, stakeholder communications, and presentations as needed.
  • Support the documentation and improvement of end-to-end workflows to enable scalability across teams and business areas.
  • Independently manage assigned initiatives, anticipate program needs, and proactively identify appropriate next steps.
Qualifications Required
  • 6+ years of experience in program management, project management, creative operations, marketing operations, product operations, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, integrated programs involving multiple teams, stakeholders, workflows, and dependencies.
  • Experience facilitating daily standups, working sessions, planning activities, retrospectives, and cross-functional program reviews.
  • Experience creating and maintaining program plans, workstream roadmaps, sequencing plans, milestones, decision logs, risk logs, dependency tracking, and status reporting.
  • Ability to translate program objectives into structured workstreams, clear responsibilities, actionable next steps, and measurable progress.
  • Experience coordinating work across creative, marketing, product, engineering, operations, technology, or enablement functions.
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills with the ability to create clear and concise program updates.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify risks and dependencies, surface ambiguity, facilitate decisions, and maintain momentum across interconnected workstreams.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills, including the ability to coordinate stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate program needs, and proactively identify next steps.
  • Experience using project or workflow management platforms such as Workfront, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, Airtable, or comparable tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting organizational readiness, change enablement, communications, training, or adoption initiatives.
  • Experience identifying enablement requirements based on audience, workflow, or creative discipline.
  • Experience partnering with subject-matter experts to develop training materials, process guidance, demonstrations, office hours, or similar adoption resources.
  • Experience establishing feedback mechanisms and translating user feedback into recommendations for program or workflow improvements.
  • Familiarity with creative technology, creative tooling, Workfront, workflow transformation, or AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Ability to translate technical or complex information into clear, actionable information for creative and marketing audiences.
  • Experience supporting generative AI, AI-enabled content production, creative automation, or other emerging technology initiatives.
  • Familiarity with creative development, content production, asset creation, review and approval, or brand workflow processes.
  • Experience scaling pilots, minimum viable processes, or emerging capabilities across multiple brands, business units, or creative disciplines.
  • Experience documenting or improving end-to-end workflows for scale.
  • Experience creating playbooks, process documentation, frameworks, stakeholder communications, and presentations.
  • Experience working within a large, matrixed organization.
