Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Program Manager to lead engagement, coordinate community-focused programs, and develop partnerships within the Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance. You will plan educational events, seminars, and health fairs, manage communications, and track outcomes while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes data management, budget basics, and cross-functional coordination to strengthen community relations and improve program impact.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required or preferred.
• Experience coordinating community programs and events.
• Strong data management and reporting skills with REDCap experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, and project planning tools.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversees planning and coordinating internal and external Meharry-Vanderbilt program activities including education meetings, events, seminars, and workshops.
• Manage communications, prepare materials, coordinate logistics, and support hosting or co-hosting activities.
• Prepare informational materials and disseminate to appropriate audiences.
• Coordinate facilities and ensure logistics and materials are prepared for events and meetings.
• Provide support for Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance activities including data collection, database management, and basic data analysis.
• Assist with drafting portions of grant proposals and project documents.
• Track and assess program metrics and impact, maintain data and databases, and manage basic budgets.
• Provide consistent communication and outreach to community members.
• Other duties as assigned.
