Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Program Manager for Commercial Learning to drive the global learning agenda for sales teams. The role blends strategic portfolio development with hands-on design and facilitation, including LMS management and stakeholder collaboration across Commercial and HR functions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in L&D with sales enablement focus, a bachelor's degree, and strong data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in organizational Learning & Development with focus onSales enablement.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influence to align learning initiatives.
  • Expertise in instructional design, content development, and materials creation.

The Job:


  • Partner with Commercial and HR business leaders to assess learning needs and skill gaps across roles.

  • Develop and manage the end-to-end learning portfolio aligned with business objectives.

  • Design and co-develop and coordinate training programs for all commercial learning profiles.

  • Source, curate, and develop training content in collaboration with subject matter experts.

  • Identify, onboard, and manage facilitators to deliver effective training sessions.

  • Facilitate training sessions to ensure engagement and knowledge transfer.

  • Plan and execute training schedules, logistics, and communications for seamless delivery.

  • Monitor and measure training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and business impact metrics.

  • Continuously improve training offerings based on data analysis and stakeholder input.

  • Manage learning management systems and maintain accurate training records and documentation.

  • Able to travel approximately 20% of the year to support commercial learning events.

  • Must have a 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or similar.

  • 5+ years of experience in the field of organizational Learning & Development, with a focus on sales enablement.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence – Ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and subject matter experts, understand their needs, and drive alignment for learning initiatives.

  • Instructional Design & Content Development Expertise - Designing, co-developing, and curating effective training programs and materials for diverse commercial audiences.

  • Facilitation & Presentation Skills – Strong capability to lead engaging training sessions, communicate clearly, and adapt delivery to various learning profiles.

  • Project Management & Execution Proficiency - Planning, organizing, and executing multiple training programs simultaneously, including managing logistics and resources across various learning platforms.

  • Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement Skills - Measuring training effectiveness, analyzing feedback and performance data, and applying insights to enhance learning offerings.

The Details:

The Salary range for this position is $77,600.00 - $124,900.00. This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements. Please note that salary is only one component of total rewards at Stanley Black & Decker. The salary range listed in this job posting reflects the range for the primary location specified. The salary range may vary for other locations. The successful candidate may be eligible for annual merit increases.
