NetApp is seeking a Project Manager for the CAO PMO in San Jose. This hybrid role requires 3 days in the office weekly and offers exposure to HR, Legal, and Workplace Experience across a diverse portfolio.

You will drive project execution, governance, and process improvements while coordinating with multiple teams to ensure on-time delivery. You will partner with HR, IT, Legal, and other stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies, and report progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of project management experience, preferably in HR, Legal, Workplace/Facilities/Real Estate or corporate functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and project management tools such as Smartsheets, Jira, or Microsoft Project.

Job description

This is a hybrid role located in our San Jose, CA office. We require 3 days in office per week.

We’re looking for a motivated Project Manager to support and help scale our Program Management Office within the Chief Administrative Office (CAO). This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio across HR, Legal, and Workplace Experience, with opportunities to grow into broader strategic responsibilities.

As Project Manager, CAO PMO, you’ll play a key role in coordinating and executing projects and initiatives that align with organizational goals. You’ll support program delivery, help streamline processes, and collaborate across teams to drive operational efficiency and transparency.

What You’ll Do
Project Execution & Coordination
  • Lead large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, gather requirements and secure leadership buy-in, leveraging PMO framework.
  • Develop project plans, track project milestones, KPIs, and deliverables; escalate risks, craft contingency plans and recommend solutions.
Process Optimization
  • Help simplify and operationalize workflows and systems for scalable delivery.
  • Contribute to documentation, process mapping, and continuous improvement efforts
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Support the intake and prioritization of new initiatives within the PMO portfolio management framework.
  • Partner with HR, IT, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
  • Facilitate project steering committees, drive project decision-making process, project updates and timely and transparent communication with leadership and key stakeholders.
What You Bring
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in HR, Legal, Workplace/Facilities/Real Estate or corporate functions.
  • Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional projects; strong portfolio management and project governance skillset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheets, Jira, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills, especially in ambiguous or high-states environments, with the ability to drive impactful solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position: Min: $82.00 - 110.00/Hr
