Responsibilities

• Develop and execute program plans, WBS, schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
• Manage programs and coordinate cross-functional activities to meet schedule, budget, and contractual objectives.
• Lead coordination across Engineering and related departments and develop the Program Plan.
• Coordinate program kickoffs and manage department budget and schedule commitments.
• Monitor budget/schedule performance, provide forecasts and leadership reports.
• Develop resource and manpower plans to support execution.
• Identify risks and coordinate mitigation and corrective actions.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal teams on technical/schedule/contract matters.
• Manage scope changes and support commercial negotiations.
• Assist RFQs and new business by validating scope and assumptions.

Program Manager, Cabin Interiors

FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary

Manages aircraft programs with accountability for execution, schedule, budget, risk, scope, and customer commitments. Coordinates global cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives within established requirements, timelines, and financial plans. Serves as a key interface among customers, internal departments, suppliers, and leadership to drive decisions, resolve issues, and support successful program delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute program plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, and customer deliverables.
• Manage assigned programs and coordinate cross-functional activities to achieve schedule, budget, technical, quality, and contractual objectives.
• Lead coordination across Engineering and related departments, including development of the Program Plan and master phasing schedule.
• Coordinate program kickoffs, establish work-center budget allocations, and manage departmental budget and schedule commitments.
• Monitor budget and schedule performance, prepare program forecasts, and provide timely performance reporting to leadership.
• Develop and coordinate resource and manpower plans required to support program execution.
• Identify program risks and coordinate mitigation, recovery, and corrective-action plans.
• Serve as a primary interface with customers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding technical, schedule, scope, and contractual matters.
• Manage program scope changes and deviations, evaluate cost and schedule impacts, and provide recommendations to support commercial negotiations.
• Support RFQs and new-business activities by validating work scope, technical requirements, schedule assumptions, and budget inputs.
• Plan and conduct required program milestone reviews, including ITCM, PDR, CDE, and other applicable reviews.
• Apply program and project management best practices to effectively manage priorities, resources, constraints, and deliverables.

Supervisory Responsibilities

No direct supervisory responsibilities. Leads and coordinates cross-functional program teams through influence, collaboration, and shared program objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience; engineering degree preferred.
• Typically 5+ years of program management experience in the aircraft industry.
• Strong program planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional activities through influence without direct authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, employees, contractors, and leadership.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical, financial, contractual, and program information and effectively present findings and recommendations.
• Ability to define problems, evaluate data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions involving multiple technical and business variables.
• Moderate domestic and international travel may be required.
• Successful completion of required pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
