Job summary

Bridges Healthcare, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Program Manager - BRYCWP (Building Resilient Youth & Communities with Prevention) in Milford, CT.

The role oversees the Milford Prevention Coalition and coordinates with coalition members, schools, community partners, and the prevention team to implement and monitor action plans. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and experience in substance abuse and mental health prevention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in substance abuse and mental health prevention.
• Knowledge of prevention, behavioral health and substance abuse.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of MPC.
• Collaborate with management to monitor the prevention budget and strategy implementation.
• Support sustainability activities including fundraising and grant writing.
• Monitor the timely achievement of goals and objectives.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
• Act as liaison to Committees.
• Collaborate to collect data and compile reports.
• Provide administrative support to strategies and activities.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Salary: $55,000-$60,000, commensurate of experience

PURPOSE and POSITION OVERVIEW

Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of the Milford Prevention Coalition (MPC) by working closely with the Coalition members, the community stakeholders, the school systems, and other members of the prevention team. Responsible for implementing and monitoring the strategies and activities of MPC and the accompanying administrative work to fulfill the action plans.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of MPC
• Collaboration with other management staff to monitor the prevention budget and the implementation of the strategies
• Participate in and support the sustainability activities that include fund raising and grant writing
• Monitor the timely achievement of the identified goals and objectives
• Attend required meetings and trainings
• Act as liaison to Committees
• Collaborate with the prevention team members to collect data and compile reports

Qualifications and Competencies:

Bachelor's Degree required

Experience in substance abuse and mental health prevention services

Knowledge and experience in prevention, behavioral health and substance abuse

Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation on a consistent basis
