Job summary

Scripps Research is seeking a full-time Project Manager to lead the NSF PCL Test Bed Node activities across Scripps Research, UCLA, and Sunthetics. The role focuses on budgeting, scheduling, scope management, governance, and reporting to NSF.

Strong cross-disciplinary collaboration is essential to success. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, managing procurement and vendor engagements, and ensuring compliance with programmatic terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field as listed in the requirements.
• PMP certification or equivalent qualification as required by the award's terms.
• Minimum of four years’ experience in project management and/or leadership coordinating scientists and engineers.
• Demonstrated experience managing budget, schedule, and scope on a multi-institutional project with deliverables and milestones.
• Experience working with a diverse set of colleagues across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Node Director in managing the budget, schedule, and scope of the project.
• Maintain and update strategic and execution plans and equipment inventory.
• Drive execution against the Project Timeline with defined milestones.
• Lead NSF reporting including quarterly, annual, and final reports.
